As one of the few manufacturers in the world to produce SF₆-free switching technology, BATEL is at the forefront of innovation.
“Our definition of ”State of the Art" represents the point where advanced engineering meets visionary design and sustainability becomes a tangible work of art.
“Art of Switching” project brings technology and art together by transforming our industrial waste into impressive epoxy sculptures.
These studies are also Batel's symbolizes a commitment to waste reduction and circular economy.
Every single artifact, Batel's reflecting the vision of combining sustainability with creativity, transforming technical innovation into a lasting art form.
“End of the Tape” is a three-part installation constructed with industrial materials left over from production processes. This work draws attention to both the physical and symbolic traces left behind by systems of labor and consumption. The installation is located at the end of the production line; it makes direct contact with what has lost its function, consumed and ignored.
Structures composed of heavy and repetitive forms evoke the machine, collapse and systematic order. Each piece questions relationships with oppression, cycles and imposed structures.
Small human figures fixed inside the structures represent the individual within the system.
These figures, fixed in place with bolts, reflect how the body is integrated into the machinery of production, even becoming invisible over time.
“End of the Tape” is not a closure; it is an expression of a residue. By transforming waste into an object of memory, this work invites the viewer to consider the political and poetic burden of what is left behind.

“I focused on how to utilize the liquid and solid wastes generated at the end of the production line. I searched for ways to transform these wastes into artistic, decorative and functional forms. The first examples that emerged with a sustainable upcycling approach were the concrete results of this effort. I continue to pursue new dreams created by these results. I would like to thank the BATEL family for their support and trust throughout this journey.”
